Authorisation, Regulation, Compliance and Conduct, are four very important words to everyone at Properties Discounted™. There are unfortunately many people that deal with Property Investment, and unfortunately many of them are NOT regulated nor are they part of a scheme where they have to be compliant and adhere to stringent codes of practice.

We are transparent and clear in the way we operate and any advice we provide is within the scope of our policies and procedures and estate agents protocol.

This provides you with the peace of mind that you are dealing with a fully compliant and regulated company, and that you are protected.

We are Members of The Property Ombudsman Scheme for Property Sales of Residential and Commercial Properties. We have chosen to adhere to their code of conduct, not only as this is a legal requirement but also as we agree and prescribe to their policies.

Professional Indemnity Insurance

We carry a professional Indemnity Policy, making sure that we provide information on properties that are correct, and as such offer protection against any misrepresentation should it ever occur.

Information commissioner’s office

We are registered with Information Commissioners Office under the data protections Act. We hate spam as much as you do and make sure we do not rent, sell or abuse your information in any way.

Money Laundering

We carry a professional Indemnity Policy, making sure that we provide information on properties that are correct, and as such offer protection against any misrepresentation should it ever occur.

Accountancy Services

All our accounts are regulated by their professional accounting body; they also carry professional indemnity insurance. We work in a compliant manner, and should we need advice we have retained specialists that can provide us with imminent taxation and accounting advice.

Solicitors

We have a large panel of solicitors that we refer work to. They are all highly experienced when it comes to property investment and understand the conveyance process emphatically well. They are regulated by the Law Society and carry professional advice. All Solicitors we use work to a strict time scale and provide up to date information making sure they offer you the best advice, protecting your interests at all times.

Our designated Law firms have established commercial departments and have the capability to deal with matters ranging from residential to commercial, development to receivership properties; in fact they can deal with most type of property purchases and sale.

Other than dotting the I’s and crossing the t’s they provide a friendly and efficient service.

Surveyors

We use a variety of surveyors on our panel from time to time for valuation advice for certain clients. They are professionally qualified and have the relevant experience to value property. We tend to use local valuers for property as they have more up to date knowledge and experience. They are regulated by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and carry professional indemnity insurance.

Financial Advisors

Anyone providing financial advice for Mortgages and lending purposes must be Regulated by the Financial Services Authority [FSA]. The must carry their own professional indemnity insurance and must adhere to the FSA codes of practice. The FSA can impose fines, disqualification and or imprisonment
